Hi everyone, I completed the Bergen (Norway) Triathlon yesterday, and what an event. The name Bergen Triathlon sounds so low key, and that is how the race is run, but it is a top class event. When you get tired of doing IM events and want a change, these non IM events are excellent, it is how IM was when I started back in the 80's.

Starten gjekk 06:30, men eg var på plass ein time før. Mykje som skal gjerast klart av utstyr, mat, klede. Alt på plass 5min før start, nå skulle eg verkeleg få stå på.

Race director 2010 Ole Jacob was a participant for the first two years when the race started with swimming in Bergen and had running at wintersport village Voss. Here is his (Norwegian) report of the very first race in 2008:
